Hameau des Claudins is a hamlet belonging to Plan de la Tour, a picture-perfect southern French village with shady squares, a weekly market, shops, cafés and restaurants. The Massif des Maures is covered with chestnut, cork oak and pine forests. It stretches from Hyères to Saint-Raphaël and includes the peninsula of Saint-Tropez (about 20km away), home to the famous Pampelonne beach and several internationally renowned vineyards, including a classified cru, Château Minuty. An excursion by car will take you along small roads through unspoilt countryside with breathtaking views. You will discover villages such as Collobrières, famous for its glazed chestnuts, the Cistercian abbey of Le Thoronet or the 12th-century Chartreuse de la Verne, or the perched village of Grimaud with its flowery medieval streets, rich in heritage and crafts, and its castle whose ruins offer a magnificent panorama over the wooded hills and the sea. 4 person holiday home, 1 bedroom and 1 open loft bedroom with 2 beds, terrace at swimming pool La Mourre is a modern and luxurious furnished holiday apartment for 4 persons. The house is fully equipped with air conditioning, a luxurious kitchen with microwave, Nescafé Dolce Gusto, dishwasher, induction hob. It has one bedroom with a double box-spring bed and a bedroom with 2 x single boxspring on the mezzanine. The House has a sloping ascending roof with original old wooden beams. In the living room you have a magnificent view through the open doors with a French balcony. The outdoor terrace located on the swimming pool is equipped with a table with 6 chairs. living room with sofa, TV, dining area, kitchen with 4 ring induction hob, dishwasher, large fridge, Nescafe Dolce Gusto, kettle, bedroom with double bed and luxury bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Our stay in Apartment 16 was absolutely brilliant. It has a lovely, spacious living room, a small bedroom and a mezzanine with two single beds. The kitchen is very well equipped – it even has a sandwich maker and a toaster. There’s plenty of parking, and Ilonka, who handles the handover and looks after the property, is very friendly and easy-going. The pool is very large and lovely, and there are plenty of sun loungers. The surrounding countryside is stunning. The nearest village, Le-Plan-de-la-Tour, is about 10 minutes’ drive away if you don’t drive too fast on the small, winding roads, but there are good restaurants and a lovely bakery there. The wider location is also brilliant: 20 minutes to Sainte-Maxime, a lovely, unpretentious little town from which you can easily take a boat to Saint-Tropez (though you only need to go there once...). Grimaud and Port Grimaud are also absolutely lovely. It’s sad to be back in Germany... Notre séjour dans l'appartement n° 16 a été absolument génial. Il dispose d'un beau salon spacieux, d'une petite chambre et d'une mezzanine avec deux lits simples -parfait pour 4 personnes. La cuisine est très bien équipée : on y trouve même un appareil à sandwichs et un grille-pain. Il y a de nombreuses places de parking, et Ilonka, qui s'occupe de la remise des clés et de l'entretien de la propriété, est très sympathique et décontractée. La piscine est très grande et agréable, et il y a de nombreuses chaises longues. La campagne environnante est magnifique. Le village le plus proche, Le-Plan-de-la-Tour, se trouve à environ 10 minutes en voiture si l’on ne roule pas trop vite sur les petites routes sinueuses, mais on y trouve de bons restaurants et une charmante boulangerie. La situation géographique est également idéale : à 20 minutes de Sainte-Maxime, une charmante petite ville sans prétention d’où l’on peut facilement prendre un bateau pour Saint-Tropez (même si une visite suffit amplement…). Grimaud et Port-Grimaud sont également absolument charmants. C’est triste d’être de retour en Allemagne…

Prima appartement met de benodigde faciliteiten. 3 airco’s aanwezig en deze konden de temperatuur goed onder controle houden. Mooi zwembad met heerlijk koud water. Onderhoud zwembad mag frequenter. Terras van app 16 was nabij het zwembad en ruim voldoende groot en tevens voorzien van grote parasol. Zwembad is afgesloten middels kindvriendelijk hekwerk. Mooie tegels rond het zwembad. Zwembad is te gebruiken tussen 9 uur en 20 uur. Ruim voldoende parkeerplaatsen. De parking is ‘s avonds heel donker en mag eventueel zwak verlicht worden bij aankomst. De route naar Hameau des Claudins is uitdagend, smalle weg met veel haarspeldbochten. De route naar het naastgelegen dorpje Plan de la Tour is niet ver maar gezien de smalle weg met scherpe bochten duurt het ritje toch al snel 20 minuten voor onervaren bestuurders in deze regio. Zaken die beter kunnen: - afvalcontainers dichterbij - verlichting op terras van app 16 - verlichting op parkeerplaatsen - broodjesservice kan stukken goedkoper - gladde trappen door steentjes van de treden (buiten). - wifi werkt niet optimaal, 4/5G onstabiel. Ilonka is regelmatig aanwezig en hoort en reageert snel op verzoekjes. Probeert dit dan ook snel op te lossen. Zowel de gastheer als gastvrouw zijn vriendelijke, behulpzame en aangename mensen. Al met al een fijn verblijf gehad. Enkel voor de route gaan we hier helaas niet meer terug komen.
